SHINee Things

SHINee celebrated their 10th anniversary this year! Along withe the 3-part album release and a epilogue album, SHINee also released their official fanlight, handy fan, and other items as well. I actually bought these items about a month ago.

The fanlight comes with a strap as well as a dust bag (not pictured). Once the fanlight is turned on there are three settings as well as a bluetooth setting, but I have yet to tried that out. I'm very happy with it! When I first saw it in person at Choice Music LA, it was bigger than I thought, but the day I went, they had sold out of this fanlight in store (its still available online). I didn't leave empty handed! I almost bought the Red Velvet fanlight, but instead I bought JONGHYUN The Collection "Story Op.1" and Poet | Artist (not pictured).

The handy fan is well. . . pretty handy! I keep it one of my bags that I bring with me every day. You never know when you're going to need a fan to cool off instantly! Like the fanlight, the fan has three settings and is rechargeable! If you buy the fan from smglobalshop.com, you get a random sticker set! I got Minho~

For the Jonghyun and Taemin name tag strap (merchandise from SHINee Day), I actually got them off of ebay. It was difficult to find at first, especially for a reasonable price, and I did have to pay for shipping. From what I saw online and instagram, the name tag straps are meant for the fanlight and fan... but I've been using mine as lanyards for my keys~

If your a K-POP fan, live in the LA area, and rather not have to order things online, I suggest you do go to Choice Music LA. It's located in Koreatown, and they have a variety of merchandise from every K-POP idol or group out there. If you order online through them, you have the option of picking it up in store! If you're looking for SM merchandise (aside from what they sell at SM COEX and such in South Korea), I highly suggest you shop at SM Global Shop, thats the site where I bought both the fanlight and fan (when combined, I got free shipping!). The merchandise that they have for sale are licensed and approved by SM Entertainment, so you know for sure you got an authentic item. There isn't many SHINee items yet, but there several things for Super Junior, Girls Generation (of SNSD), Red Velvet, EXO, and more. Their warehouse is also based in the greater LA area, so if you're from Southern California, you'll get your package within a week!

Although the fanlight is currently a collector's item, I am ready for whenever SHINee or any of the members come to LA for an event. I hope this post helps your decision in buying these items... or not.

Even quite late, congratulations SHINee on your 10th anniversary. I'm very proud to be your fan and watch you grow (and grow with you), not only into wonder men, but as singers, performers, and artists. You boys have worked so hard in the past 10 years, you have done so well, you deserve the world. Jonghyun-oppa, I wish you were here to celebrate this achievement with your members and others who are close to you, but I know you're watching over them, supporting them, and always smiling with them. We miss you so much down here, but I know you're now happy and resting. Please continue to watch over your members and family. You did well too, and then some.
