October is well underway, and Chen has released his second “Dear My Dear.” Just like “April, and a Flower,” I was quite impressed. Chen continued to show off his vocals to warm the hearts of many for the coming autumn season. But this album is somewhat of the opposite from his first album. The first album gave me a feeling of broken heartedness, but with contentedness as well. A good bye that both parties are happy with. “Dear My Dear” gives off the feeling of finding a new love that you wouldn’t want to let go. Although the album does give off a warmer feeling, it is still full of songs that gives off a sense of comfort. The song “Good Night” is one of those songs that reminds the listener that they have worked hard that day, and deserve some rest when night comes. I could say more of why I liked the album, but you should give it a listen too. If our thoughts align, thats great; if not, that’s okay. We are allowed to have our own interpretation of what the song are about, even though Chen has talked about his inspiration for each song.
Don’t forget to check out Chen’s new album and his new music video “Shall We.”
Thank you for another great album, Chen. Can’t wait to see what else you will show us as a soloist and as part a of EXO.
